Four Days in Santorini, the Anteliz Way
Guests often ask us the same question before they arrive: is four days truly enough time in Santorini? Our answer, after two decades of welcoming travellers to this cliffside village, is a confident yes. Four days will not carry you to every corner of the island, but they are exactly enough to move past the postcard and into the island itself - to walk the caldera rim at first light, to linger over a glass of Assyrtiko with someone who grew the vines, to feel the particular stillness that settles over Firostefani once the day-trippers have gone.
Santorini rewards those who slow down. Beneath the whitewashed cave houses and the endless Aegean blue lies an island of volcanic vineyards, medieval villages, and quiet footpaths that most visitors never find. At Anteliz Suites, our family has spent twenty years learning where those moments live, and the greatest pleasure of our work is sharing them. From the instant you arrive, you are looked after by people who know this island intimately and who treat your stay as something personal rather than transactional. That spirit shapes everything that follows.
We have built this guide around four unhurried days - arrival, discovery, restoration, and a mindful farewell. Follow it loosely, and you will leave not feeling that you have ticked off an island, but that you have understood one.
Day One: Arriving Slowly - Arrival via the Firostefani footpath, settling into the suite, an Aegean Aperitivo (drinks only) at Liz Aegean Bar, an evening caldera walk, and dinner off-site at Selene or a caldera-side taverna.
Day Two: Beyond the Caldera Rim - Inland villages (Pyrgos, Megalochori, Emporio), an Assyrtiko wine tasting, or an alternative afternoon sailing with Caldera Yachting past Palea Kameni and Red Beach.
Day Three: Stillness and Restoration - Hotel breakfast on the terrace, a slow day of rest, an evening return to Liz Aegean Bar for cocktails and sunset, with a note on the 3-Bedroom Private Villa for larger parties.
Day Four: A Mindful Farewell - An early quiet walk along the caldera rim, a final hotel breakfast, departure via LTS Transfer Agency, and an offer of the Anteliz Suites Curated Guide 2026.
